Our History

St George’s has a rich history spanning more than 100 years. While the worshipping community dates back to the 19th century, the foundation stone of our current building was laid in 1923, and in 2025 we celebrate our centenary. While we honour our storied past, we are equally focused on building a vibrant future – embracing new opportunities to grow, serve, and worship together in a changing world.
